DomainKeys was issued as a "historical" protocol and DKIM was issued as its standards-track replacement. From Wikipedia under the

SPAM in general is illegal yet we can't find the people doing it. Unless it was a government file the person won't even be investigated and it won't be taken seriously. There is also a small chance that it could have just been an error of sorts during sending or forwarding or whatever. DomainKeys: Proving and Protecting Email Sender Identity DomainKeys is a technology proposal that can bring black and white back to this decision process by giving email providers a mechanism for verifying both the domain of each email sender and the integrity of the messages sent (i.e,. that they were not altered during transit). And, once the domain can be verified, it can be compared to the domain used by the sender in the From: field of the message to detect forgeries. If it's a forgery, then it's spam or fraud, and it can be dropped without impact to the user. Q. why cant i read so many emails because of the domainkeys? Asked by Nedal - Tue Jan 9 02:46:16 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A.
