Buying a domain name that is owned by someone else.? Q. Hi there. I own [mycompany].co.uk, .net and .info but I would like .com too. Unfortunately someone has already registered it. Two questions really: 1. How do I go about buying it and registering it in my name? Usually I go through domain name registrars and buy them online. 2. If I can't get the .com domain is there any risk to my business? What's the worst case scenario?
