How is Uganda now different as an independent nation than when it was under British rule?
Q. Yesterday, on Ugandan Independence Day, I told my wife that I believe Uganda is better as a sovereign nation now led by its own people. Is this true and have conditions there improved since becoming independent? I believe so but I want your opinions on how the conditions have improved and why things are better. Uganda is, technically and for all intents and purposes, a democracy though the leader has no term limit. He was still voted in and there are elections. What do you think?
